Experienced HVAC Service Technician
We are looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician who can confidently diagnose, service, maintain, and repair residential and light commercial HVAC equipment.
This position is ideal for a skilled technician who takes pride in solving problems properly, communicating clearly with customers, and delivering high-quality workmanship.
What You’ll Do
- Diagnose and repair furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, ductless systems, rooftop units, water heaters, and related HVAC equipment.
- Complete preventative maintenance and system inspections.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and control issues.
- Explain findings and recommended repairs clearly to customers.
- Complete accurate service documentation.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
- Represent Lloyd HVAC Services professionally at every customer location.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous HVAC service and diagnostic experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Valid Ontario G2 Gas Technician licence preferred/required depending on experience and assigned work.
- 313D or 313A certification is an asset.
- Valid ODP certificate is an asset.
- Valid Ontario driver’s licence and a clean driving record.
- Strong communication and customer-service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional, dependable, organized, and safety-conscious.
Experience working with multiple HVAC brands and both residential and commercial equipment is a strong asset.
Seasoned Comfort Advisor
We are looking for an experienced, customer-focused Comfort Advisor to help homeowners and businesses make informed decisions about their heating and cooling systems.
This is not about high-pressure selling. We’re looking for someone who listens, understands the customer’s needs, evaluates the property, and recommends appropriate HVAC solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Meet with residential and commercial customers for HVAC consultations.
- Assess heating, cooling, indoor air quality, and comfort requirements.
- Recommend appropriate replacement and upgrade options.
- Explain equipment choices, efficiencies, warranties, financing options, and available solutions.
- Prepare and present clear proposals and estimates.
- Follow up with customers and manage opportunities through the sales process.
- Coordinate with our office, technicians, installers, suppliers, and management team.
- Maintain accurate customer and sales information in our CRM.
- Build long-term customer relationships through professional, no-pressure service.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous HVAC sales, estimating, comfort-advisor, or industry experience.
- Good understanding of residential HVAC systems.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to listen to customers and recommend solutions based on their needs.
- Comfortable preparing estimates and discussing equipment options.
- Strong follow-up and organizational skills.
- Valid Ontario driver’s licence.
- Professional appearance and customer-first attitude.
Technical HVAC experience, industry certifications, and experience with CRM software are considered strong assets.
