It depends on location and current demand — during heat waves our phones are busy. We prioritize emergencies above all other calls and give you an honest arrival estimate, not a vague window. If we can’t get there fast enough, we’ll tell you upfront.
Do you charge extra during heat waves or after hours?
No. We never charge extra for evening, weekend, or heat wave calls. Some companies surge their prices when demand spikes — we don’t. The rate is the same whether it’s a Tuesday afternoon or a Saturday night during the hottest week of the year.
My AC smells like something is burning — is that dangerous?
Turn off your AC immediately at the thermostat and the breaker. A burning smell typically indicates an electrical issue — overheating motor, damaged wiring, or a failing capacitor. Don’t turn it back on. Call us and we’ll diagnose it safely.
What if the repair requires a part you don't have?
Most common repairs are resolved on the first visit — we stock frequently needed parts. In rare cases where a specific part needs to be ordered, we’ll explain the situation, give you a timeline, and help you stay cool in the meantime.
I have an elderly family member at home with no AC — can you prioritize us?
Yes. Calls involving elderly residents, young children, or people with health conditions are treated as top priority.
