The Simple 6-Step Energy-Saving Program

Step 1

Initial Quote

Contact us to set up an initial assessment and provide a quote based upon our expertise of the energy rebate process.

Step 2

1st Energy Audit

We’ll connect you with a registered energy advisor to assess your home and advise you of your potential energy-saving rebate. You will receive a custom report with recommended upgrades.

Step 3

Proceed with Upgrades

We’ll professionally install your equipment. 

Note: A minimum of two qualifying upgrades are required to access the energy-saving rebate.

Step 4

Follow-up Audit

Schedule a 2nd audit to confirm the upgrades are installed. It takes about 1 hour and must be done within 120 days of the 1st audit, or Dec. 31, 2025 (whichever comes first).

Step 5

Get your Rebate

The energy audit company will submit the audit on your behalf. Cheques will be awarded starting January 2025. You’ll also receive an extra $600 to offset the cost of the 2 audits.

A home energy assessment helps you understand how your home uses energy currently, and identifies upgrades to boost energy efficiency. The advisor will assess your home from top to bottom, and assign an EnerGuide rating for your home. You’ll receive a custom report to help you make decisions. The initial assessment takes about 2 hours, while the 2nd assessment is about 1 hour long.

No, this program is designed to provide custom advice and recommendations on your upgrades, so we strongly advise you to contact us soon if you plan on doing major renovations. We’ll get the process started for you immediately.

While you will have to cover the upfront cost, you will receive a single rebate of up to $600 to offset the costs of the assessments upon completion of the program

Yes, you must send copies of all invoices and your property tax bill before the energy advisor can submit your project for payment.
