HRAI Engaging with Ontario’s New Cabinet to Advance HVACR Priorities: Lloyd HVAC Services Proud to Be Part of the Discussion

Earlier this month, Lloyd HVAC Services had the honour of joining the Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada (HRAI) at Queen’s Park for a significant advocacy initiative. George Lloyd, representing our team, participated in a day of discussions with Ontario’s newly appointed cabinet members to help advance key HVACR industry priorities. It was a proud moment for us as a local business to have a seat at the table, engaging in conversations that directly impact the future of our work, our customers, and our province.

The day focused on building awareness around the importance of sustainable HVACR practices, the need for clear regulatory support, and investing in workforce development. It also opened up dialogue on how industry and government can collaborate more effectively to meet Ontario’s energy efficiency and climate goals.

As George put it, “Being part of these discussions ensures our voice is heard at the highest levels. It’s our responsibility to contribute to shaping a more sustainable future for our communities.”

We’re proud to stand alongside industry leaders and advocate for positive change that benefits not just contractors and technicians, but homeowners, businesses, and future generations.

Stay tuned for more updates as Lloyd HVAC continues to support innovation and leadership in the HVACR space!
